March: Wire Wrapped Gemstone Ring

I thought I'd start off by making everyone the same thing this month. This will give me enough time to order the supplies to make everyone's custom jewelry in April. I decided to make everyone this simple (but elegant) wire wrapped ring using supplies I already have on hand. To me, it seemed like a staple item, so my hope is that it will work for everyone. Please let me know if you are violently opposed though. (Or even mildly opposed).

So here's the deal. I'm going to post pictures of the gemstones I have, and you can pick which one you want to use for your ring. Unless otherwise stated, I have one of each gemstone, so first come first serve.

Please leave a comment stating:
A.) which gem you want for your ring
B.) what size ring you want   (If you don't know your size, just measure the finger you would want to wear the ring on with measuring tape--or if you don't have that you can wrap a string or something flexible like that around your finger, cut or mark it and then use a ruler to measure the marked area.)
C.) Whether you want your ring to be stainless steel or silver-plated aluminum. (The silver plated is bright, the stainless steel looks more like a darker antiqued silver).

Happy Choosing!

Curious about the difference between Natural, Lab-Created, and Simulated Gemstones?

Real or Natural Gemstones: Real gemstones are just that, real and natural, as they were created in nature.

Lab Created Gemstones: Lab created gemstones are made of the same mineral composition as natural gemstones, and are created in laboratories with equipment that simulates the high pressures and heat that nature used to created the real gemstones far beneath the surface of the earth. A lab created gemstone is identical to the natural gemstone it replicates in every way; color, hardness, composition, luster, looks etc.
The only difference between a lab created gemstone and a natural gemstone is that the natural gemstone most likely has flaws called inclusions, and lab created gemstones have no inclusions, as the mineral composition, heat, and pressure are controlled in the laboratory.

Simulated Gemstones: Simulated gemstones are created in a laboratory environment, but they differ from natural gemstones and lab created gemstone in many significant ways, and are only made to look like a natural gemstone. Simulated gemstones in most cases do not have the same mineral composition, color, hardness, luster, or looks of a natural gemstone or lab created gemstone.
Most low cost jewelry is made with simulated gemstones due to the fact that simulated gemstones cost less than lab created gemstones.
